Calibrating and conditioning your analog CO (POTS) lines can significantly reduce issues related to poor audio quality, echo, or interference. This procedure helps optimize the performance of analog trunks on NEC SL2100 and SL1100 systems
⚠️ Note: This applies to analog phone lines only. It does not apply to SIP trunks.

‼️ Important: We strongly recommend calibrating and conditioning each analog CO trunk line during every new installation.
Instructions
Use an idle digital phone connected to the system, with the handset in the cradle. The phone must be connected to the NEC SL2100 or SL1100.
Step-by-Step Procedure
- Press the Speaker button, then dial
# * # * - Enter the password:
12345678 - Press the Hold button
- Dial
90 68 01 - Dial
01to begin adjusting Trunk 1 - Press the Hold button
- The display will run through 5 measurement adjustments
- When complete, the screen will display:
Copy? (1:Yes)
⚠️ Tip: You can copy trunk parameters from Line 1 to others, but we recommend testing and conditioning each line individually - Press the Menu key to return to trunk selection
- Dial
01, then02to test Trunk 2 - Repeat steps 5–8 for each additional line
- After completing all trunks, exit programming
- Power down the phone system to apply changes
‼️ Important: A full system reboot is required before further programming can take effect
Once the NEC SL2100 or SL1100 fully reboots, you may continue with any other necessary programming.
