How to Connect to the NEC SL2100 or SL1100 for Programming (PCPro & WebPro)

This guide explains how to connect your computer to the NEC SL2100 or SL1100 phone system to perform system programming using either PCPro (Windows-based software) or WebPro (browser-based interface).

Option 1: Connect Using PCPro

PCPro is a Windows application used for full system programming of the NEC SL2100 and SL1100. Follow these steps to connect:

Step 1: Set Up Your Network Connection

  • Ensure both your computer and the NEC phone system are connected to the same local network (LAN).
  • Power on the NEC system.

Step 2: Download and Install PCPro

Step 3: Launch PCPro and Log In

  1. Open PCPro and click the Connect button (top-left corner).
  2. In the Connect window, enter the login details below:
    • NEC SL2100 Login:
      • IP Address: SL2100 (or actual IP address)
      • User Name: tech
      • Password: 12345678
    • NEC SL1100 Login:
      • IP Address: SL1100 (or actual IP address)
      • User Name: sltech
      • Password: 12345678
  3. Click Connect to initiate the session.

⚠️ Tip: If the connection fails, try replacing SL2100 or SL1100 with the actual IP address of your system (e.g., 192.168.0.10).

Step 4: Download the Current Programming

Once connected:

  1. Click the Download button in the top menu.
  2. In the Download window, click Start to retrieve current system settings.
  3. When finished, click Close.
  4. Go to the System Data tab to begin programming.

Option 2: Connect Using WebPro

WebPro allows browser-based programming using the system’s IP address. This method is ideal for quick edits and remote access.

Step 1: Open WebPro in a Browser

  1. Launch your preferred web browser (e.g., Chrome, Edge).
  2. Enter the phone system’s IP address in the address bar. Examples:
    • sl2100
    • sl1100
    • http://192.168.0.10 (replace with your system’s actual IP)

Step 2: Log Into WebPro

  • SL2100 Administrator Login:
    • User Name: tech
    • Password: 12345678
  • SL1100 Administrator Login:
    • User Name: sltech
    • Password: 12345678

User-Level WebPro Access (SL2100 & SL1100)

To upload on-hold music, voicemail greetings, or auto-attendant prompts:

  • User Name: USER1
  • Password: 1111

User-level login provides access to media upload functions only. System settings are not accessible with this login.
